Praveen Maneesha is a Sri Lankan batting all-rounder who combines right-handed batting with leg-break bowling. Born on 12 November 2005 in Hanwella, he progressed through Sri Lanka’s youth cricket structure and earned recognition with the national under-19 setup. Maneesha is capable of supporting the batting order with a calm approach while also offering an attacking option when quick runs are required. As a leg-spinner, he relies on control, variation, and flight to challenge batters and create wicket-taking opportunities. His ability to contribute in both disciplines gives captains greater flexibility when selecting a balanced side. Performances for Sri Lanka Under-19 and Sri Lanka A have helped him gain valuable experience. Although he is still at an early stage of his senior career, his technical foundation and all-round potential are encouraging.
