Pramod Madushan is a Sri Lankan fast bowler who has built his reputation through accuracy, movement, and a calm approach in pressure situations. Born in Hambantota, he worked through domestic cricket before receiving his international opportunity in 2022. Madushan bowls right-arm medium-fast and is most effective when he keeps the ball around a testing length, allowing natural swing and seam movement to challenge the batter. He can operate with the new ball, but his slower deliveries and yorkers also make him useful near the end of an innings. His most memorable early international performance came in the 2022 Asia Cup final, where his four wickets played an important part in Sri Lanka’s title-winning effort. Since then, injuries and competition for places have limited some opportunities, yet he remains a dependable squad option.
