Bhanuka Rajapaksa is an aggressive Sri Lankan left-handed batter known for powerful hitting and a fearless approach in limited-overs cricket. He usually operates in the top or middle order, where his main strength is changing the momentum of an innings quickly. Rajapaksa spent many years performing in domestic cricket before receiving his international opportunity during Sri Lanka’s T20I tour of Pakistan in 2019. His clean striking, strong bat swing, and confidence against spin make him especially dangerous in T20 matches. He has also represented franchise teams in several competitions, gaining experience against different bowling attacks and conditions. Although his attacking style can involve risk, it gives his team a valuable boundary-hitting option during the middle and final overs. Rajapaksa can also bowl occasional right-arm medium pace and has wicketkeeping experience. When he controls his shot selection, he can produce decisive innings and provide important balance to a limited-overs batting lineup.
