Dunith Wellalage is a talented Sri Lankan bowling all-rounder known for composed left-handed batting and skilful slow left-arm orthodox bowling. Born on 9 January 2003 in Colombo, he attracted attention while leading Sri Lanka at the 2022 Under-19 World Cup. His performances in that tournament highlighted his maturity, control, and ability to contribute under pressure. Wellalage uses flight, accuracy, and changes in pace to trouble batters, particularly during the middle overs.
