Chamindu Wickramasinghe is a promising Sri Lankan batting all-rounder who brings useful balance to any side through his left-handed batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling. Born on 6 September 2002 in Kandy, he developed his skills in Sri Lanka’s youth and domestic cricket systems before progressing to the senior national team. He is known for batting with confidence in the middle order, rotating the strike intelligently, and increasing the scoring rate when required. With the ball, his controlled pace and ability to vary his deliveries make him a practical option during important stages of an innings. Wickramasinghe made his T20 International debut against India in July 2024 and later entered ODI cricket against New Zealand. His performances in domestic and franchise competitions have shown that he can contribute in different match situations.
