Vijayakanth Viyaskanth is a talented Sri Lankan leg-spinner from Jaffna who has gained valuable experience in domestic and franchise cricket. Born on 5 December 2001, he bats right-handed and bowls right-arm leg-breaks. Viyaskanth first attracted wider attention through the Lanka Premier League, where his control and confidence against experienced batters marked him as an exciting prospect. Rather than depending only on sharp turn, he mixes flight, pace, and length to make scoring difficult during the middle overs. His willingness to attack the stumps also gives him regular wicket-taking opportunities.
