Sachindu Colombage is a Sri Lankan leg-spinner who has earned recognition through domestic and franchise cricket. Born on 21 February 1998 in Negombo, he bats right-handed and bowls right-arm leg-breaks. Colombage’s main strength is his willingness to attack, using flight and changes of pace to encourage batters into risky strokes. He can also vary his length according to the match situation, making him useful during the middle overs of a limited-overs innings. His performances in Sri Lanka’s domestic structure led to opportunities with Under-23, representative, and Lanka Premier League teams. One of his notable franchise displays came in 2021, when he took three wickets for Kandy Warriors against Galle Gladiators.
