About Pawan Sandesh
Pawan Sandesh is a Sri Lankan batting all-rounder who has started building his reputation through age-group and domestic cricket. Born in Balapitiya, he is a right-handed batter who can also contribute with right-arm medium-fast bowling. Sandesh first gained attention while representing Sri Lanka at youth level, where his calm approach and willingness to spend time at the crease stood out. He is comfortable batting near the top of the order and can adjust his tempo according to the match situation. Rather than forcing every delivery, he looks to rotate the strike, punish loose bowling, and build partnerships. His bowling gives captains another option, especially when the pitch offers movement or the team needs a change of pace. Still early in his senior career, Sandesh has room to develop. Regular opportunities in domestic and franchise cricket can help him sharpen his decision-making, improve consistency, and grow into a reliable all-round performer.
