About Haider Ali

Haider Ali is a Pakistani top-order batter known for his positive intent, quick hands, and confident stroke play. Born on 2 October 2000 in Attock, he progressed through age-group cricket and represented Pakistan at the Under-19 level before entering the senior international setup. A right-handed batter, Haider is comfortable playing drives, pull shots, and strokes over the infield. His natural game suits limited-overs cricket, particularly when he is given freedom to score during the powerplay or build momentum in the middle order. He made his international debut in 2020 after impressive performances in domestic cricket and the Pakistan Super League. Although his career has included periods of inconsistency, his ability to score quickly remains valuable. Experience in franchise competitions has exposed him to different bowling attacks and conditions. When his shot selection is controlled, Haider can provide fast starts and change the direction of a match within a few overs.
