Ali Raza belongs to the Nankana Sahib district of Punjab, where he was born on 18 March 2008. His cricket journey is no less than a film story. This boy, who used to bowl with a tennis ball in the street during his childhood, impressed everyone with his hard work. His real grooming took place in Rana Naveed Cricket Academy of Sheikhupura, where former pacer Rana Naveed-ul-Hasan taught him the tricks of fast bowling. Ali Raza first gained world recognition in the U19 World Cup 2026. In this tournament, he proved to be Pakistan's main weapon and was the leading wicket-taker by taking a total of 13 wickets. His spell in the semi-final against Australia is still remembered by the fans, where he troubled the big batsmen with his speed and bounce. Ali Raza's life took a big turn when Peshawar Zalmi picked him for PSL 2026. His confidence increased a lot under the leadership of Babar Azam. His most memorable match was against Quetta Gladiators, where he took 3 wickets for just 9 runs in his 4 overs and became the "Player of the Match".
