Farhan Yousaf (whose full name is Muhammad Farhan Yousaf Khan) was born on 15 December 2006 in Kasur, Punjab. He developed a passion for cricket since childhood, and through his hard work and dedication, very quickly made his place in domestic cricket and then at the national level. Farhan started his career from the grassroots level. He continued to perform well in the domestic circuits of Kasur and Lahore. Due to his excellent batting technique and game awareness, he was soon included in the Pakistan Under-19 team. He is not only a reliable batsman but also possesses excellent leadership qualities, without which he was appointed captain of the Pakistan U19 team. Under the leadership of Farhan Yousaf, the Pakistan U19 team achieved its first success in the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2025. He defeated India in the final of this tournament held in Dubai and helped Pakistan win the title for the first time since 2012. This victory made him the centre of attention of cricket fans day and night. PSL Debut and Peshawar Zalmi (PSL 11) Farhan Yousaf's PSL journey began in PSL 11 (2026) when Peshawar Zalmi picked him up due to his impressive domestic performance and aggressive batting style. Farhan made his PSL debut on 28 March 2026 against Rawalpindi Raiders at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. He played several innings for Zalmi in the middle order. His best score was 58 runs*, which he made against Karachi Kings in just 36 balls. Along with batting, Farhan also set new records in fielding. He took a total of nine catches throughout the season, the most by any player in PSL 11. He was also named the tournament's Best Fielder.
