Sufian Muqeem is one of Pakistan's most promising emerging left-arm wrist spinners, known worldwide for his unique bowling style. He hails from the picturesque Pallandri (Baithak Baloch) area of ​​Azad Kashmir and stands at approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. He began his cricketing career playing tape-ball cricket and moved to Rawalpindi to gain better foothold, where he honed his skills with the leather ball. Sufian made his PSL debut on 14 February 2023 for Peshawar Zalmi against Karachi Kings. Due to his excellent performance, he soon got a place in the national team. He made his T20I debut for Pakistan on 3 October 2023 in the Asian Games against Hong Kong, where he took 2 wickets. His ODI debut came after Azan on 22 December 2024 against South Africa, in which he impressed everyone by taking 4 wickets. The 11th edition of PSL (2026) has been the most memorable season of Sufyan Muqeem's career. In this season, he played a key role in helping his team win its second PSL title, representing Peshawar Zalmi. He was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament with 22 wickets and was awarded "Player of the Tournament" and "Bowler of the Tournament" for his excellent bowling. His economy rate was 7.20 and bowling average was 14.40, which is a testament to his skill and control.
