About Daniel Richard Sams
Daniel Sams is an Australian all-rounder whose game fits the demands of modern limited-overs cricket. A left-arm fast-medium bowler, he uses changes of pace, cutters, and well-directed deliveries to make scoring difficult at different stages of an innings. With the bat, he is a powerful right-hander who can provide quick runs in the lower order and finish an innings with fearless hitting. Sams developed his reputation in Australian domestic cricket, particularly through the Big Bash League, before earning his T20 International debut in 2020. His value comes from being able to affect a match in more than one way, whether by taking an early wicket, controlling the final overs, or producing a late batting surge. He has also gained experience in franchise competitions outside Australia. When his execution is sharp, Sams gives captains useful flexibility and adds genuine depth to both the batting and bowling departments in competitive T20 cricket.
