Lahore Qalandars Win PSL 2025.Lahore Qalandars made magic happen by winning the PSL X Final on May 25, 2025. The team won against Quetta Gladiators in a game played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. While they needed 202 runs to win, the Qalandars set a new record with the highest chase in a PSL final match. With one ball remaining, India ended the game with just four wickets lost. This marks Lahore’s third PSL victory and they earned it with great style. People at the game were ecstatic, shouting loudly, holding flags and cheering every player who ran. That was a great climax to all the excitement this season brought. Throughout the whole two hours, the mood was exciting. The Qalandars showed they are still the top team.
Quetta Gladiators Big Total
Winning the toss, Quetta Gladiators set off with a good start to their batting. The way they played, making big shots from the start, was plain to see from the first few minutes. They stayed in control of the score and got every ball that wasn’t played well by the opposition. Rotating sensibly and putting clear boundaries in place, they managed to score 201 runs for only 9 wickets. Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf from Lahore’s team fought well to keep the runs down. Their wickets helped keep Quetta at under 220. Nonetheless, trying to win with 202 points in the final was a real challenge. It seemed like Quetta was going to record a large victory. But Lahore did not follow the plan.

Great pressure weighed on the Lahore Qalandars when they started their chase. Most fans were confident and then Raja, opening batsman, was dismissed early, making them nervous. The team struggled to keep up early on and the necessary run rate started increasing each over. But after that, Mohammad Naeem appeared, bringing a lot of energy and skill at a young age. With a few big shots, he made the match more exciting again. It reminded fans that he is not afraid to stand up for them. Under heavy pressure, Naeem showed promise for a starring role. He arrived on the field just 10 minutes before the match started and still took part. Raza stayed calm even though he hadn’t rested and was tired from traveling. During the last over—which really counted—MS Dhoni managed to clear the boundary with a six and also added another four. We will always remember the incredible way he finished his career in the PSL. He did everything it took to save the city. Raza discovered that intense passion is not affected by meters of distance or changes in time zones. He was the main reason behind this win.
Kusal Perera’s Match-Winning Knock
Lahore depended on Kusal Perera to play solidly in the middle of their batting. He played with absolute confidence whenever the situation seemed dangerous. His clean hitting allowed him to remain unbeaten at 59 from 28 balls. Being there helped the team keep their cool while they tracked the criminal. Raza and him formed a critical partnership in the last stage of the match. Handling pressure was what enabled him to win this match. You could tell by every shot that he had skills and precision. Perera was the clear winner for Player of the Match. He brought peace during the troubled times in Lahore.
Mohammad Naeem – A Star is Born
Young Mohammad Naeem was a standout with his brave performance at the crease. He arrived just after Pakistan needed runs desperately and got off to a flying start. He managed to hit 46 runs off 27 balls, thanks to smashing six huge sixes. Naeem showed a lot of spirit and confidence which got the crowd feeling the same way. He wasn’t top form after the crash, yet he played as though he were a hungry lion. What he did in the finals suggests that he is prepared for greater opportunities. Fans and professionals were impressed by everything he did during the tournament. He earned the award for Emerging Player of the Tournament fairly. Lahore Qalandars now have an exciting new superstar.
